According to foreign media reports, the shipments of NAND flash memory in the fourth quarter of last year increased by nearly 10% compared with the third quarter, and the revenue of the NAND flash memory industry increased by about 8.5% month-on-month to $12.55 billion.

NAND flash shipments and revenue rose nearly 10% sequentially in the fourth quarter of last year, largely due to increased demand from data centers and the ability for chip suppliers to reduce inventories to normal levels.

For the first quarter of 2020, foreign media expects that shipments of NAND flash memory will decline or remain flat quarter-on-quarter, but prices may rise, which is expected to offset the impact of declining shipments. In terms of revenue, foreign media is expected to be at least the same as the previous quarter.
