Cirrus Logic Appoints John Forsyth as Company President
Cirrus Logic Corporation (NASDAQ: CRUS) today announced the appointment of John Forsyth as President of Cirrus Logic. Previously, John Forsyth served as Chief Strategy Officer at Cirrus Logic, where he was responsible for driving the product strategy for Cirrus Logic’s low-power, high-precision mixed-signal processing solutions. Now as president, John Forsyth will take on a larger role in the company’s day-to-day business operations and assume additional responsibilities while leading the product development team to continue driving product line strategy. Meanwhile, Jason Rhode will continue to serve as CEO, focusing on the company’s long-term growth and strategic direction.

John Forsyth started his career developing handheld devices at London-based Psion and has over 20 years of experience in embedded technology. Before joining Wolfson in 2012, John Forsyth led product development and strategy at various technology companies, including serving as CTO of the Symbian Foundation and Vice President of Strategy at Symbian Software.
